Debussy was influenced by the french organ school. The shift of registers and careful use of timbres in his music is amazing

This beautiful piece, recorded only two days after the very rare occurrence of an amazing sight in the heavens, a 'Super Blue Moon', (Super= closest to the earth, and Blue= 2 full moons in one calendar month) which will not occur again until 2037, may well combine to underline the rarity of the talent which produced it, with the ethereal wonder of this celestial body. Dreamy!!

L'organista è bravissimo e la scelta dei registri perfetta, tale da esaltare il pezzo e da farlo sembrare scritto appositamente per organo. The registration for this wonderful music with all its very fine nuances is very skilfully done for this organ by Jonathan. The sound stays very silky and the smooth volume changes very well performed with the swell and stops.
