I'm 70yrs and miss my grandchildren very Dr y much but both of their Moms make sure I see them every week . My granddaughter is 16 and spends just about every weekend with me. She rings her friends to my house and we talk play games.
My grandson is 6hrs. away and we talk everyday. I always tell tham how much I want love them. God has blessed me.

I haven't seen my grandson since he was 15 years old. I co-parented with his mom, my daughter, for 15 years of his life. Her significant other helped her decide to cut ties with her family. Heart breaking. MY grandson is 22 now...I have no idea why he's not reaching out now that he's an adult. Much Love to them both, but my Life doesn't Begin or End with my children...took a very long time for me to get to this point. .I have 2 more and I Am Thankful for them Both :)

I'm right there with you. Every morning asking God how much longer I have to keep this up..all alone. Nothing to live for. Got 5 dogs.
Takes the edge off..but doesn't ease the pain of being with any human love or concern.
