The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), “Killers of the Flower Moon” is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal. Also starring Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser, Tantoo Cardinal, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, and Jillian Dion, Killers of the Flower Moon is directed by Academy Award winner Martin Scorsese from a screenplay by Eric Roth and Scorsese, based on David Grann’s best-selling book.

Hailing from Apple Studios, Killers of the Flower Moon was produced alongside Imperative Entertainment, Sikelia Productions and Appian Way. Producers are Scorsese, Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas and Daniel Lupi, with DiCaprio, Rick Yorn, Adam Somner, Marianne Bower, Lisa Frechette, John Atwood, Shea Kammer and Niels Juul serving as executive producers.

I remember when I learned about the true historical events behind this film. Every person in their lives betrayed and exploited them. Every white person. It was disgusting. I can't believe they don't make us learn about it in schools, along with Tulsa. I'm very glad it's being talked about now because of this film.

This is a well directed and detailed movie. I watched all of its almost 3.5 hours and didn't get bored even though the motive & agenda in the plot was clear from the beginning.

A minor spoiler alert: I don't know why, but I particularly like the ending of it as I was born in the 80s & grew up seeing my mother listen to radio stories. It evoked memories & was interesting seeing how those stories were produced.

This movie is unbelievable. I’m still mesmerized by it. That’s how deep this movie is. I’d advise anyone to see it. I’ve seen it twice now and even bought the book by David Grann. It’s a true masterpiece. The movie is so authentic and real it’s almost as if you were there transported to that period. I’m mesmerized.

Extremely sad movie. I got so much involved emotionally. De Niro, Di Caprio and Lily Gladstone really know how to act.
Mr. Scorsese, thank you for this masterpiece. 2023 was such a rich year for movies, and the Oscars were a tough battle. I think De Niro deserved Best Supporting Actor.

I thought I’d hate this film, but instead, I found it to be a fascinating & incredibly tragic story. Three & 1/2 hrs felt like 2, if that. The Osage Indians had a good deal of input into the making of the movie & depicting it with historical accuracy. And I agree, DiCaprio was amazing & I found it hard to believe he was the main character. The corruption of the human state of being is So so so sad.

This looks spectacular. Martin Scorsese’s movies are always the gold standard. I think it will be a stellar year for the Oscars. This is the kind of movie that Apple & the other studios should be producing year after year. Excellent.
