Decided to remake this one particular scene I liked from hl2 ep2 for animation practice. almost all animations here are hand animated except for the walking parts.

Love that little transition at the end of the camera basically returning to Gordon's perspective and the "cutscene" being over.

I like that you can hear the metal clanking of Eli's prosthetic leg whenever he's walking as opposed to just using the same generic walking sound for both of his legs. It's a small detail, but it adds a layer of realism

these types of scenes make it really sad when Eli dies. the ending of hl:a though made me tear up a little
