When prices do go down, it won't be a crash, it will be a correction. Prices are artificially high right now. August 2022.

I have texts from the dealership selling a 2017 cascadia evolution with 430, 000 mi on it in July of this year it started out at $99, 200 I just received another update text on the following price of that truck and it is now at $62, 500 so from July to September it's lost half of its value or at least what guys were willing to pay so that tells you something about the freight market

Used prices are high because people owe too much on the trucks they are selling (private sales)

Is this Canadian math? The price is up! How is that 'worse'?

While they are simmilar models, the red one looks like it may be in better condition than the white one and has more features. So not sure that it is a great comparison.

That being said, it is a pretty volatile market and has been for the past year with everything going on.

It would be cheaper to go out and build your own truck these days lol

When greedy truck dealers start to lower prices then truckers will start buying trucks again. U have high insurance, permits, low freight rates, and high diesel prices. Prices for parts are also expensive, might as well lease with a company or just stay as a company driver.
Forget about a new truck they are more expensive than a house now

They're crashing it with a purpose. Just like they've did with COVID, the Market ect. It's for the evolution from electric to self driving trucks.

Would never own a truck over the year of 2000. Only under the year of 2000. No Def tanks, and no ELD logbooks.

I would never buy a used emission truck. They are done with it for reasons. I don't want to pay for those reasons.

Probably buying them for the parts... ;-)
