its right but also shadow step can be used agressively and also can play for entry with his blinds, smokes, and tp. For example, on pearl, throw your smokes on dugout/secret, and flowers on A site, then throw a straight blind so you blind cubby and dugout. the tp on default. Just make sure you tp right after you throw your blind because his blind doesnt last long

I honestly disagree, Omen clearly has the most agressive kit for a controller and SHOULD be played agressively especially when you understand that the range for the tp to be heard is very narrow. Hence if you know where someone is you can very easily tp to them after having flashed granting you an easy kill most of the time. The only time I personally play more defensively is going to be, you guessed it: on defense.

That tp has INFINITE potential, I’ve done nutty things with it, you just have to try yourself and smile when it works.

I’d say his kit literally revolves around his tp. Smokes can help with nutty tp plays and of course the blind can.

I'm a filler so the majority of the time I end up picking smokes, my to go agent has always been Omen, but pretty much maining him has got me a lot of opportunities since he does the job and at the same time he can be super aggressive or also be effective passivily, last act I went from gold to diamond 2

The shadow steps can also be used as kind of a 'Get out of jail' card, You can just telly to another spot when you get concussy'd🥵 or stunned. Or when the sussy enemies are pinning you down.

Yeah, omen can either be played as a perfect support for your whole team or as a solo carry agent or as a hyper aggressive dualist type role. He is one of the most versatile agents. You can easily entry with the right util usage on whatever site. Just watch Dr. Freeze for one. His play style is pretty aggressive with his usage of TPs and smokes.

I think i found why there was this one omen that kept playing like a duelist with his shrouded steps now

I've maind omen for atleast 3 days and i use him like a duelist with best smoke, i just smoke between me and my opponent and give info that im at the other side then sneak behind them with the step, usually works every time, ive gotten alot of kills with this, using shotguns like bucky helps or just use stinger

Omen is so fun to play with, you can make the bomb your's, and some tp plays can totally confuse the other team, so getting kills is never a problem

Definitely could add a bit about how shrouded step is good for lurking past trip wires and chamber traps and also how paranoia deafens enemies which makes shrouded step actually good in aggressive situations

U cant place one way smokes anywhere now. But u can put the smokes on ledges or lamps or small stuff around a wall to make one way smokes
