IAU Webinar Series: Impact of COVID-19 on Higher Education – Launch of the Second IAU Global Survey

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted the entire higher education sector around the world; HE leaders and stakeholders reacted by showing resilience, adaptability, and spirit of innovation. More than a year into the pandemic, the world is still in a state of emergency. Even as the development of vaccines provides hope to overcome the crisis, the number of infections and resulting deaths remains high, while the new virus mutations threaten further disruption.

Despite these challenges, the global higher education community is already thinking about the post-pandemic scenario and planning for the future. To understand the effects of the pandemic, and to learn more about how universities and higher education institutions have transformed the way they operate, the International Association of Universities has launched a second edition of the Global Survey on the Impact of COVID-19 on Higher Education.

This webinar presents the key topics covered in the Survey, while also underlining the importance of data-driven decision-making.
