I honestly get why Soul Society doesnt call Ichigo. Like damn near every single bad thing that happened so far, Ichigo has had to come in and fix it. So from their perspective they probably feel like they rely on him way too much and need to be able to handle stuff themselves.

For those who haven't read the novel, Soul Society didn't really need Ichigo for this one. Kenpachi was legit the automatic "Fix It" button for this entire novel. Hikone held off multiple opponents and jokes that high level speedsters like Byakuya seemed as if they were standing still to him. Bro's Zanpakutou was named Ikomikidomoe and was an ancient Hollow that once beat a younger version of Yamamoto and was only stopped by Ichibei, was then forged into a Zanpakutou by Oetsu. Even with all this power, he couldn't get Zaraki to even release his Shikai 😂. Hikone literally asks Zaraki why he didn't release his sword and Zaraki laughs and says the fight would be over too quickly. Then Hisagi, not wanting Zaraki to absolutely abuse and butcher this child, jumps in and fights Hikone so Zaraki didn't slaughter him. It's in this same novel that Ichibei declares Zaraki as the strongest Shinigami.

I didn't thought how immensely deep the story can go in Bleach. Cfyow wasn't really needed, but it gave a closure to tosen's revenge. So, they can really continue the story by somehow connecting characters and bringing new villains. I just want to see about the original gotei 13 with Yamamoto and Unohana, how they had a drastic change of heart.

As someone who has been with bleach for along time I can barely remember the hell arc because of Tite Kubo's whole situation back then. It would be unfathomable if Kubo starts to give the same love and effort towards the hell arc as the TYBW adaptation. If you are a manga reader you know we are getting treated by the anime but we still pretty much know how this is going to end. To have completely different issue's and characters but the same settings. I'm ready for Kubo to show us his new visions or the visions he has always had for the "new" bleach.
