I can vouch on this one. I don't understand all those girls that huddle in the bathroom for no reason in-between classes... it scares me a bit.

This is all literally so true. I feel like the worst thing is how you start to judge yourself more and more and it really gets in the way of other stuff.

My least favorite thing about middle school was that they told us to “act like adults” and then treat us like children

the last one is so dang true. I just started middle school last year, and I have to say, I used to be SO innocent. I would never swear, I wasn't dirty minded, until i started middle school!

As someone who went to a school where it was TK-8th and didn’t really notice the shift between Elementary and Middle school (other than the class period changes) I have to say, our school didn’t really have a social tier list. It was just like, oh yeah those guys are friends, and those girls are friends, and the occasional don’t talk to them they’re annoying

One thing I wish I knew when I entered middle school:

literally 90% of people are fake, and try just as hard as u to look cool so fr just stop caring about other ppl because everyone’s too busy looking at themselves to notice things about others, and if they do, they’re rlly just that desperate for attention and they aren’t even worth your time

This made me so sad. Though I experienced some of these things in middle school, I'm so glad I was homeschooled.

As a current middle schooler, I can say that this is true. Back in elementary school, some of the people started to swear in 5th grade and it switched to the majority of the people (including me) to swear. I know only one person who hasn't even cussed and he's so kind. Hope he doesn't start to change.
