Natural Disasters features a catalog of catastrophes to challenge mayor-players everywhere, including planning with early warning systems and emergency routes, devastating and destructive disaster effects, and caring for the populace as they struggle to rebuild. The expansion will also update Cities: Skylines with a new scenario editor and gameplay mode, allowing players to finally win – or lose – the game on their own terms.

An Objectively Good Feature: Scenario Mode - Natural Disasters expansion includes 5 pre-made scenarios to challenge disaster masters, with custom game objectives such as starting cities, win conditions, time limits, losing conditions and more! The Natural Disasters Scenarios expands on the Scenario Editor, which is a free update for all players that allows them to create and share their own custom made scenarios.

This is like if somebody built a city downstream of Hoover Dam. One tiny crack, and the entirety of Lake Mead pours upon them.

biffa put up the shelters since there is no where your citizens can go if a disaster does happen also make sure that you know how to press the full evacuate button because you could be just staring not allowing your people to enter the bunkers

Move the drain pipe somewhere else, might ease the flooding somewhat over there. Ironically, the flood wall might cause the flooding because of changes in water flow :)

Just a tip: Traffic in the city is often reduced a bit if you separate the industrial/commercial zones from the residential zones. The people won't complain about noise pollution since no traffic is neccessary in the area and overall happiness increases. Good video btw

We need safe square to build in, Biffa says and sees the next unlock is quite a bit away. At the same time, there are several new areas open for purchase already. 🙂

Biffa try turning off the dam to lower the water level and then place the flood walls.

Hi Biffa, with the time limit, would hate to see a loss based on that. In your previous build, you habitually left it on fast forward which works alright for the previous version. But with the weeks, need to really spend every penny on expanding I think to get the full win ^.^ Best of luck! Little bit of terraforming should solve that little wet spot enough to build more wall.

I would love to see you connecting the 2 industrial zones across the river so the one bridge doesn't have to deal with all the industrial traffic.

Use offices instead of industry because 1. No pollution 2. Even with offices the industrial bar goes down biffa
