I once made a pretty good living as a photographer and still look at the world thru a lens most of the time . I am impressed each time you pop up on the screen . YOU just DO NOT take a bad photo ! ! ! I've only known a few Ladies THAT lucky You are a joy to behold .

A few other things a lot of folks overlook, rubber bands, all sizes! Tinfoil, plastic wrap, zip lock bags(good ones). Tooth care, emergency fillings, extra tooth brushes. Sewing kits....the list goes on and on

You forgot only one other item…Entertainment! Paperback books of games, deck of cards, magazines, board games, etc for the adults & non electronic entertainment for the kiddos. After all, we still need entertainment.

Make your own catch up sprayer by melting the cap of a water bottle with a nail and a lighter to make a funnel that you can screw on and off. That way it doesn't cost you anything for the catch up bottle

Don't forget harvesting equipment like a scythe for cutting grass for your animal, weeds around your garden and if you are lucky wheat you have grown and old corn stalks and such for your valuable compost pile. Also consider seeds for trap crops to reduce pest pressure on those precious food crops.

granny loves your sense of humor! My grandmother taught us to bury food scraps by digging holes 2 ft deep, adding worms or cardboard pieces or used paper towels before filling the hole with lots of water. In about a month or two you have compost and it's a great way to reduce waste.
