Official Lyrics:
Put on my black and gold and I boarded the plane..
Touched down in the land of the Bucs and Pens in the middle of a Steelers game
Arthur J. Rooney, won't you look down over me?
Yeah, I got a back row ticket, so I'm as blue as a boy can be.

Walking in Pittsburgh
Walking on a bridge made of solid steel
Walking in Pittsburgh
Do I really feel the way I feel?

Saw the ghost of Myron
down on Liberty avenue
Followed him up to the Heinz field turnstile
And watched him walk right through
Now, security they did not see him
They just hovered 'round his tomb
And there's a really great team, waiting on that seventh ring
Down in the locker room!

Walking in Pittsburgh
Walking on a bridge made of solid steel
Walking in Pittsburgh
Do I really feel the way I feel?

They've got Ketchup and Primanti's
One way streets that go nowhere
the 61C would be glad to take you
though you haven't got your fare

You've got a prayer in Pittsburgh..

There's a woman who plays piano every Friday near Sixth and Wood
And they brought me down to see her, and they asked me if I would
do a little number and sang with all my might
she said, "Tell me, are y'inz a Christian an'at?"
And I said, "Ma'am get your English right!"

Do I really feel the way I feel?

This boy actually has a nice voice. It wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting silly - and it wasn't silly at all. It's actually quite good. Thanks!

Outside of the "Here We Go" fight songs about the Steelers, this may be the best song about Pittsburgh I've ever heard. Well done, Mr. Tim Ruff!!!

fell in love with the city when I came over for a vacation back in August 1991 3 weeks of heaven and more.
All I remember about the area I was staying was north hills mall and I think a giant eagle store lol.
Truth I got to meet true Americans who are proud of there city and I can see why thank you for everything and more

Outstanding work! Loved the song.. I also am a big fan of the original version as well.
Loved how you talked about the "Ghost of Myron". Indeed, you still know he's still at the Steelers games.
