Bissell clearly did not have anyone test cleaning the parts after multiple uses. or else they did not care about the cleaning. The "residue" builds up over time and brushes do not reach the areas to clean it, or the parts are screwed on. They should at least sell a brush/cleaner designed to access all the interior parts of the tank.
