For those wondering, to pull off the clear plastic cover to get to the brushes it literally just pulls off. Flip up the purple door where you insert accessory hoses put your hand in the hole and pull up. There is a secondary cover under that where you just flip the green latches on each side and pull up with both hands. You will have access to the brushes from there. Unfortunately I could not find this info online so I decided to just pull and it worked and it all snaps right back together
