Can Canada kill Canadians that joined ISIS?

There is a legal debate unfolding over whether Canada can kill ISIS extremists who hold Canadian passports. Some of Canada’s allies have admitted targeting their citizens before they return home, but military law and the charter may be odds.

I don't think that it all that complicated of a question. The answer is yes. and if they are fighting against Canadians they should be banned from ever entering Canada again.

Quite a dilemma. I'm for both. Killing them outside of Canada might prevent future catastrophes. However if you let them return to Canada you might be able to catch any/all sleeper cells. IMO, any Canadians who join groups that are hostile to Canada are no longer considered Canadian citizens and should be considered hostile themselves. If I think about it more...ah never mind. Too many thoughts and don't want to produce wall of text.

The charter of Rights and Freedoms also has Section 1 (reasonable limits) and Section 33 (non-withstanding clause), specifically to stop such silly legal stretches.
