I have the 2023 qm8 and always find my self lowering the brightness at night time because it is oh so bright. This years model has 5K nits and 5K dimming zones. Whoa.

I wish manufacturers would keep model names across markets. In Australia the TCL lineup is C655 C755 C855 etc etc. I always have to ‘figure out’ what TV Caleb is reviewing! Unless he could put up a screen grab of the model names while reviewing to make our lives easier?

I just got the QM851G and I’m really pleased with it so far. TCL has my respect as a company because when I couldn’t afford a higher end TV I lived off of the S series and I didn’t have a single issue with it. TCL is legit in my book

Unrelated but I just bought the u7k. Thanks so much for the review fam it is amazing. I haven't bought a TV since 2018, back then I bought a 50" Vizio with only 1080p. This thing is just crazy. Glad I could get a professional opinion on what to get

I love your nit nerds segments but maybe you can add a section related to realistic viewing like streaming and Blu-ray etc. I see all these crazy numbers but when you are only watching Netflix level HDR a lot of the TVs look very similar

The upgraded 75" q691 with full array local dimming and onkyo 2.1 speakers is on clearance in the US at costco right now for only $400, if you can find one. In store only, not delivered. Sadly, there aren't any reviews of this specific Coctco-only model, but it seems to be the same as the Q68 series, but with FireOS, upgraded Onkyo 2.1 speakers, a longer 3-year warrantee and they're claiming over 500 zones of full array local dimming.
I gambled on it, and it looks and sounds awesome. I think that right now, that's about the best bank for the buck you're gonna find!

Can it easily beat the best projector available in the market? That'd be interesting to know.

Welp I couldn't wait any longer for the QM851g Full Review. I was hoping to see how it compared to Hisense U9N that isn't released yet. Amazon dropped the price on the 75QM851G for a limited time probably for Prime Day to $1, 499.00. I couldn't resist. This will replace my 2019 TCL Series 6 4k TV. I've religiously watched your reviews for the past few years and TCL always gets solid positive reviews from you. Thanks for all you do Mr. Caleb for us Nit Nerds!!!
