I bought a QM851G 65" today for $898 and it is spectacular. I cannot see any blooming because it has so many dimming zones. I'm glad that I got it over a cheap OLED.

Great video! We just purchased the QM7 colors are great when you sitting facing front on the tv, if you walk away you can see colors started fading away that is my only criticism. When I saw your video regarding QM6K the first thing was the angle looks great, but then you said watching front face the colors are not as bright as the QM7. The angle on the QM7 bathers me, compared to other TVs we have around the house, so what is really your recommendation. We use the tv to watch tv series, Netflix, Max and movies on a Blu Ray player, no games.

I'm waiting for the QM8K. It's impressive what they're offering in the QM6k, but Imagine what they can do with the QM8K. If you're in the QM8 pricing bracket you're going to be regretful if you don't wait to see what the QM8K has to offer.

So the vrr pushed to 288hz- does that require dropping down to 1080p or something? Otherwise capped at 144hz for 4k? This is likely limited by the HDMI capability, correct?

I just processed an exchange from my new tcl qm7 2024 98" to this 98".

Mostly interested in the matte display, our living room is incredibly bright and the qm7 is near useless until around noon.
