How to Factory Reset Xbox One & Make it run Faster! (Keep All Apps & Games)

Do you want to know how to factory reset xbox one and make it run faster and quicker before??? Or make it run like new! If your xbox one is having problems with the operating system and displaying the screen. You can launch your xbox one into the troubleshooting mode. To launch your xbox one into the trouble shooting mode to factory reset it. Turn off your xbox one turning it on and holding down the power button.

Now hold down the sync and eject button and press the power button. Release on the second beep. Now the troubleshooting mode will appear. You will have two options to factory reset. One option will allow you to keep the games and apps. The second option will allow you to erase all data and start your xbox like new.

For people asking if you lose game data and your saves, I can confirm you keep all your game data, however your profiles will be removed from the xbox but can easily be retrieved back and will have everything on them still (games, friends, apps, etc) of you remember the password to log back in, I did find however that SOME of my games did not stay on the xbox which forced me to reinstall them which sucks but it's not the end of the world, This 100% works and its 100% safe, just remember any login details that you might need for the future

Total black screen on my Xbox one, it’s been on the fritz for a few months now and I was always scared it would completely crap out soon. Was convinced it was done for when I first saw this, saw some comments online trying to explain how to factory reset but this video is the one that properly showed me how to do it! Seems like there’s a couple minor things this screws up with downloaded games and accounts but that’s all very small in the grand scheme of things. Glad to have my Xbox back working and now maybe it’ll actual run a bit better again too :)
