I received a notification that one of my GMB was suspended, but I can't find the email they sent me about it. I'm having trouble with the appeals process - I keep getting an error. I don't understand why it was suspended, and it's really frustrating. Maybe this GMP is my workaround. I was able to start a new profile on the maps steps you are describing.
