I've learned a lot over the years - here are some of the top lessons I would share if you want to become a better travel photographer:⁠

✍️ You don't actually need the BEST gear, so save your money on upgrades and spend it instead on education (conferences, tutorials, coaching, etc)⁠

✍️ Always shoot in RAW to have more image data to edit (yes, even phones can shoot in RAW!)⁠

✍️ Learn what compositions work (and then learn to break the rules)⁠
⁠
✍️ Photograph during different times of day to change a scene completely⁠

✍️ Learn from other photographers to grow your skills quickly (and photo friends are the best kind of friends!)⁠

✍️ Challenge yourself to new styles of photography to keep your creativity flowing⁠
