REMAKING MY SELKIE PUFF DRESS REMAKE (updated pattern!) - THISISKACHI DIY

It's finally time to update my puff dress video! As my last video on this dress was a bit all over the place, I decided to give you a long, in depth video tutorial on the organza version of this dress. I hope you guys enjoy! Tell me in the comments, which version of this dress you prefer!

This tutorial is the best I’ve seen so far!! I have two Selkie puff dresses and I was gonna attempt to make them. I was considering doing a full circle skirt based on my rib cage measurement plus a little more to gather so it is extremely puffy. The Selkie dress has a circle skirt under the first layer which is pinned with a stitch at even parts throughout the top of the skirt at the waist to give it more puff (it is not perfectly sewn into the top seam) if you want to play around with that for your next version (there should be three skirt layers not including lining) if there is one 😊

i did my own version of this dres and the bottom lays WAY better if you cut it from multiple circles - you don't need that much gathering at waist then, so the amount of fabric is simmilar, but it just flows and drapes better

The part about the sleeves was so confusing despite your really good explanation lol. Those things make my tiny brain fume, if I need to turn something like 3 times and want to imagine how I need to do it so it turns out correct
