To all the Goku stans in the comments... Angels are beings who are much more than just the mastered ultra instincts.

Just because Goku has the MUI doesn't mean he's anywhere near the level of Whis. It's like saying the president of america and the president of uganda possess the same amount of power just cuz they are both presidents

Angels are supreme beings, Goku may have one of their powers but he'll never reach their level. Vegeta on the other hand has already taken a step towards becoming a god of destruction and Beerus is all in for it.

So at the moment Vegeta has the most potential to become the stronger one of the two, that is unless Toriyama pulls another Goku transformation out of nowhere

Whis trained Goku so he can master MUI because Whis already mastered it, if Goku mastered the ultra instinct by his base form then he has potential
And Beerus trained Vegeta so he can be a god, and by training an indestructible god.It is proven Whis is stronger than Beerus but Beerus is still a goat, when Vegeta fought Beerus, when Beerus slapped Bulma and he got triggered, he actually felt that one.But that doesn't mean he got strong
I think the Ultra Ego has a huge amount of durability but it's not mastered yet and needs to be mastered by getting hit alot
