you say to remove the tape when the paint in wet, but if you put 2nd coute , you can leave the tape on the surface with the first coute to dry and remove it on the second coute ?

MY trim is new from the installers but just has the undercoat I needed to know how to paint the moulding around the window I don't need baseboards as just had them replaced and the contractor painted them but I am doing the windows myself.

Hello, great video! I'm re-painting over my trim that's very banged up in spots. Some spots have alot of knicks, scrapes. Do I use wood filler or a spackle & what grit sandpaper is best to sand it? Is it best to prime over the places where I use filler or just a couple coats of paint? It's white & repainting white FYI. Thanks, appreciate all help!

I have delicate surface FrogTape. I’m painting 2 different colors. Metallic paint with an extender. How long should I wait, before applying the tape, to a freshly painted surface?

Wouldn't a roller, even a foam roller, leave a textured surface?

What kind of primer did you use? I used a Benjamin Moore oil based and it ruined my trim . Didn't go on smoothly like yours or cover as well. Thank you for the video!

we are told to just use a sponge and not tape for drips, in the past we used tape, so I guess I am forced to do this differently. no knee pads, what a beast. you should save your knees though, if you have the $ to, they are cheap.
