This is a very good tip! I want to make a skeletal replica and "stabilizing" the bones in the arms and legs with pieces of wood in the first place will spare me a lot of trouble while sculpting. I am planing to make the joints movable anyway so this will ensure everything moves in the right places. Thank you!

Honestly, I had no idea what you were talking about at first. "Edges"? "Edges" do not equal pieces of wood stock. I don't know why you chose to call them that; it's just confusing.

wouldn't electrical tape, and or wood burn in the heat of the oven when I bake the clay? (Or do you use air-dry clay for this type of armature?)
