Republican Lawmakers React to Hunter Biden's Indictment | EWTN News Nightly
Показать описание
Reaction to Hunter Biden's indictment on Thursday came quickly from Republican lawmakers. House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer says the charges are just the tip of the iceberg. James Comer says, "I think we've made the case that the President's son committed nearly a dozen serious crimes. If I had to rank the crimes, in order of seriousness from one to twelve, with one being the most serious and twelve being the least, the gun charge would rank a distant twelfth." Congressman Comer and the Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan are investigating an alleged play-to-pay scheme involving the Biden family and foreign nationals. This dates from Joe Biden's time as Vice President. Congressman Comer has a list of questions for Attorney General Merrick Garland when he testifies before the House Judiciary Committee next week. Founder of the Article 3 Project, Mike Davis, joins to share how much this case has shifted since the original plea deal collapsed in July. He tells us how far he thinks the DOJ will take this case and whether he expects Hunter Biden will see significant jail time. Even though we are still far from the 2024 election day, Davis discusses how much he thinks this Hunter Biden news will affect President Biden's chance at re-election.
