Republican lawmakers react to Hunter Biden plea deal collapse

A plea agreement between federal prosecutors and Hunter Biden fell apart Wednesday. The judge refused to sign off on a deal that would have seen the president's son enter guilty pleas to two misdemeanor tax charges and enter a diversion program in lieu of pleading guilty to a felony gun possession count. CBS News' Catherine Herridge and Scott MacFarlane joined "America Decides" to break down what happened in the courtroom and Capitol Hill's reaction.

It unraveled last night when somebody on Hunters legal team call the judges office pretending to be someone from the other side and told the judge to disregard the whistle blowers fromnthe IRS.

Sure is funny how Catherine left out that someone from Hunter’s legal team called the Delaware clerk and lied about their identity to remove testimony from the IRS whistleblowers from the court docket. I assume this had a great deal to play in the plea deal rejection.

I find it interesting that these news anchors and field reporters don't focus on the substantive legal details, rather.. they focus on the political party. Bias in action whether they realize it or not.
