Title: Most Unsettling Flims
*Starts off with a guy in a wolf mask wiping his butt against the door*
Me: He wasn't joking around here

Creep uses cringe to make you scared the same way the Office uses cringe to make you laugh

I read a review of it somewhere and the writer described it as "What if Michael Scott from The Office was really sinister?" I think that's the best description possible.

The shot of him standing in front of the porch light is so iconic.

Mark Duplass is so real in this movie that even though he is probably a good guy, I could never meet him in person

The ending for the first movie literally broke my heart it was just so simple and anticlimactic, but so great

The bathtub scene was the most uncomfortable thing I've sat through in quite a while.

Creep is fantastic, genuinely unsettled me and stuck with me for a couple days. Always recommend this to people who ask for a horror/thriller recommendation

this is one of those movies where you don’t feel that scared watching and then you try to go to bed and you’re like uhhhh nope ima be awake for the rest of time now

They are both actually such good movies because of how raw and how similar to real life they are. Real life serial killers rarely do anything flashy or horrifically gruesome, most just simply murder and occasionally torment. There is only 1 Ted Bundy but there are thousands of unnamed murderers who break into people's homes with a knife just to stab them and leave.
Incredible films honestly

Despite its weirdness and low budget feel, it’s actually really, really good. It feels more like a character study, like Ryan said, but it’s good at making us uncomfortable and immediately anxious. Even if you know the ending you’re still unnerved.

The fact that there was no script for this movie, while it makes sense, is insane. Love your content

I love the Creep series. Not sure if a lot of people do but they are phenomenal for me

“The impact of the axe on his head makes me shiver every time” yes, this is extremely accurate

The Creep series is a literal gem of found footage. It's so awkward and unsettling.
Peachfuzz is brilliant.

Am I the only one who misses the outros where Ryan would talk to us by camera?

I found the rape story from the first movie to be one of the creepiest movie moments I’ve ever seen (especially with the reveal that his presumably fake wife’s name was actually his sister’s name, which has disturbing implications in itself even if the story isn’t true)... and it’s just 2 people talking. I also really liked the story in the second one about his encounter with a murderer, and how he would go on to use his “Oh my god... this is going to be a good day” line on Aaron and presumably others.

There were times when I thought the cameraman was being dumb for not ditching the situation sooner, but i also understand that he felt bad for Joseph and wanted to believe that he wasn't a bad guy.
