OMG! Seeing Annabelle, Friday the 13th, and The Ring all at the top of the ice berg, means that the movies at the bottom are PURE NIGHTMARE HORROR and make the horror movies at the top look like ordinary family movies by comparison. Martyrs is the perfect overlap of deeply deeply harrowing content with a really really deep poignancy to it. May be one of my favorite movies, tho I can’t stomach it more than maybe once every six months

I will NOT be watching Martyrs again. Once is more than enough for me. The human mind that envisoned this s**t and put it into a movie is very mysterious, disturbed and sick. This is definitely NOT for the weak. I'm good on this.
