That’s always been my favorite bible story! I’ve asked for it to be read at my funeral. 😊 I went round and round with a preacher once who said there wasn’t any such story in the Bible. Ha! I saw him a week later and he had found it and was surprised! He had never read it before.

The most surprising part of this story is that there were "woods" around there for the bears to come bounding out of.

Bible thumpers that ignore the stupidity “Within the Word, ” remind me of a Monty Python skit when the famous writers meet with the King of England, one writers tells the King Shaw said, “Your Majesty is like a stream of bats piss.” Shaw recovers with, “ I mearly meant your majesty that you shine out like a shaft of gold when all around is dark!”

So many apologists who try to justify this story. Often claiming that the kids where some kind of bloodthirsty hooligans. But that is not what the Bible says, but even if they where, so what? They where still killed for mere mockery.

They want the bible taught in schools and classrooms to kids ..
