If you are on a laptop, hold the power button like 10-15 seconds and then restart..
Windows might have crashed while you had your laptop in sleep mode. The laptop doesn't shut down if you just close the lid, you have to shut it down by button (holding it till it shuts not by just pressing it) or Windows

This actually helped me a lot!!!! Ill explain why. I kept getting a black screen with blinking cursor and I came across your video. I do not have a dual display so I was going to brush this video off BUT I have done it before and I remembered that I left the second cable connected to my computer and I decided to disconnect it since Im not using and here I am using my computer again! I read the article and started with Solution 1. After Logo+spinner comes the black screen, I hit Ctrl and entered my admin password without seeing it. A few seconds later the normal Win desktop screen showed up. Did not have to use the Windows Key + P part. Now in Device Mgr my onboard graphics card appears as problematic. I disabled it (since I stopped using it long ago), relying on a 'dedicated' graphics Nvidia card. Noticed that this is also mentioned in your Solution 3. Win 10 Pro is now working ok under version 16299.
Thank you for helping with the onslaught of problems Microsoft it throwing at us. Seriously thinking about replacing Windows with Linux, or at least start with a dual boot system with Ubuntu default.

The weird thing is this asus tablet im working with here is not powering off, unless I would take it apart and disable batter power. This occured while updating windows 10, but it was detecting malware before the update. Update you have to hold down the button for about 20 seconds, then when in windows you can disable all sleep screens.

I tried solution 7 from how to fix temporary profile. And I accidentally deleted another file😬 from profilelist. Now as I turn on my PC 🖥 and sign in🔑 the screen is ⚫ WHAT SHOULD I DO NOW?😥🥺

I got a solution, it worked for me (acer laptop), while the logo is loading, i pressed the power button then it shuts off, after that, i pressed the power button again then i can see my screen now :D
