Our first real hitchhike here in Malaysia from Perlis to Penang was, in some ways unsuccessful and in every other way a HUGE success!
We had so much fun meeting amazing locals and learning about not only Malaysian culture but about Pakistani culture too!
This is just one more journey that confirms to us that hitchhiking is our favourite way to get around, you should definitely try it for yourself someday!
Who would've thought that we would end up hitchhiking with a millionaire too! So crazy! The kindness of people has certainly overwhelmed us!

The kindness of the Malaysian people is just incredible. I experienced similar things there like you guys when I cycled across Southeast Asia just recently. I was also overwhelmed at times. I wish you more fun and memorable adventures in Malaysia!

What a kind soul our Pakistani brothers. May Allah blessed them both. There's quite a number of Pakistani community here in Malaysia. If you visit KL don't forget Little Karachi in Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah, Titiwangsa Sentral. The whole stretch of the road fulls of Pakistani restaurants. That's why local gives the name of that stretch of road as Little Karachi. Check out Pak Punjab and Ras Balouch. They are two of the popular Pakistani Restaurants in KL. Their biryani rice is out of this world. Although both are meat based restaurant but they do have many vegetarian dishes. Check it out if you come to KL. Malaysia is truly Asia with many communities from Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia to Middle Eastern community resides here in Malaysia. Hence, the diverse food choices! ❤
