DSM Sheets:

================

The video offers a quick guide on learning DSM diagnoses efficiently. It acknowledges the challenge of memorizing the arbitrary criteria and numbers in the DSM but stresses the importance of understanding them. The presenter suggests using one-page sheets containing diagnoses categorized into sections, with diagnoses highlighted in yellow and specifiers in red for easier navigation. These sheets can be downloaded from a Google Drive link provided in the description. The recommended approach is not to cram all the information in one session but to encounter patients with different diagnoses over time, referring to the sheets for a good differential and reflecting on why certain criteria fit or don't fit. The goal is to internalize the diagnoses through practical application rather than rote memorization. The video encourages viewers to engage with the material actively, emphasizing understanding over mere memorization.

WOW! You did alot of work creating the PDF's! I am having tough time just learning this stuff without all the other stuff about how restricting the DSM-5 can be and all of that in regard to how it is only fitting within one culture, etc... I agree with your last statement about your education.

It was very kind of you to share this as I'm sure it took many hours of work and you're just selflessly giving it away for free. Not only is this useful and helpful for clinicians but will also be beneficial for the clients and patients they serve <3 AMAZING <3
