Good morning, Chuck!
I’m currently studying for my CCNA, learning Linux and Python, and becoming familiar with AWS and the cloud in general.
I just want to give a shout out to you and your fantastic content. I’m 48 years old and switching from the hospitality field, and Your enthusiasm and solid advice has boosted my Drive immensely.
Thank you!

I am so glad you posted this today....I have been stuck in a loop of non progression with my learning and I think this advice will be just the kick in the pants I need to start absorbing material faster...I always reinforced what I learned when I explained it to others in the past, and for some reason I never thought about this simple route...I am going to do it. Thank you so much for being an encouraging force on YouTube for Networking professionals...I have been watching them for a long while and these videos always push me a bit further when I feel stuck, tired, or unmotivated.

Great advice. How I built my career was starting on the support desk and demonstrated my passion for learning by being willing to pick up issues 'above my pay grade' and not being afraid to ask questions. Create documentation and share with your colleagues to help them learn. Challenge your peers. Also, don't be afraid to fail. The only failure is not learning from your mistakes.
By the way, I just subed after two videos. Great content so far.

Just started my YouTube to try to share my thoughts about how to build networks and security, for the simple reason when you are good enough to explains it to others you do really know the stuff :) and that I did take my CCNA, CCNP by just watching cbt nuggets and lab.

Great tips and keep the videos coming!

Hey Chuck, please make videos on -
*How to create our social media profile.
*Marketing itself.
Please explain in-depth about it in a video or make a video series on it.

You're doing a great job for us man, thanks allot.

Perfect way to end this Monday, walk out of the client office like a Rockstar knowing you put out all fires, and all your tickets are completed. Then notification for this. Man, what a pick up, from feeling beat up.

Hey Chuck, first off, congrats on your new baby! Second, thanks for all the positive info you put out there for us. I have a great job where I work from home and then leave for a couple weeks as needed. Anyways, I am working on a project to create study guides for several certifications for my job and in the process am studying to take the tests myself. I'm outgoing in person and have no problem teaching anyone what I know but I am not sure how I feel about putting my face and video feeds online. I want to help people and convey what I've learned to others but am a little weary. What are the pros/cons to making these videos and has it ever had a negative affect on you or your family? I worry about social media/videos from a security standpoint. -Sincerely - R

Speaking of Linux+, I got the most out of Linux Academy hands down. I went from close to zero to lightbulbs going off all the time after their fundamentals and sysadmin courses. NOT paid to mention it; it just worked for me and there are really good quizzes, labs, and tests to reinforce knowledge.

That's called the Feynman Technique based on the quantum physicist Richard Feynman. It's awesome and he lived by this philosophy when explaining things to people. He could even explain particle/wave duality where it makes sense.

Thanks a lot for this super motivational video.
It’s 100% true that teaching is the most rewarding and powerful tool for learning too. This was essential during my college years. The thing is that I can do it excellently in one-on-one setting. I do believe in the power of video tutorials. I myself learned through that platform amazing beneficial topics. I would love to share what I already know with the world. But here is two things:
1- I am an introvert person. INFJ personality type. Plus I am an HSP.😅
2- The Internet has the power to distract content makers into seeking fame or showing off.
May you please advise .
All the best wishes 👍🏻

Can you do a video on how to create an I.T resume? I’ve been in I.T (desktop support) for 15 years, finally studying for the CCNA but my resume is 4 pages long and I’d love some tips for what to cut from it.
