I recently got the 1 year subscription to boot camp through another code that was going around, and I’ve been really happy with it so far! Some of my friends have also begun using it and like it! The boot camp team is so responsive. They’ve responded to every single one of my feedback. Glad to see you talking about boot camp :)

I just took and passed Step 1 (mind you I was an avg accepted MD student). Took it with zero dedicated time, so vacation time next 7 weeks. But I am gonna make a controversial statement: in the era of Step 1 being P/F, it is strategically better for students to take it earlier to a.) get a good break in before M3 yr, and b.) start studying for Step 2 (which tbh starts first day of med school), and c.) get some more time doing research. Btw I will make another controversial statement: doing all of Sketchy bugs/drugs, watching 1st 4 chapters of Pathoma, highlighting FA front to cover, and doing multiple runs of UWorld is not needed to Pass step 1 for a number of students who keep up with material with Anki and other PQs from day one of med school assuming they don't have red flags elsewhere. I mean I passed having only done 13% of UWorld- I recommend more for those who need it based off their CBSA/CBSE diagnostics, but yeah it can be done. I ain't a genius either- accepted to med school with a 3.6 GPA and 512 MCAT so pretty average smarts.

I cannot thank you enough for the free 1 year subscription.. some of us simply cannot afford 200 dollars when already paying for: rent, bills, food and the cost of transportation and so on... Thanks so much to yourself and Medschool bootcamp for sponsoring the video.

Thanks for the free year! I literally downloaded bootcamp for our neuroanatomy exam 1 day ago, which was very helpful. They give a 3 day trial and then its $197 a year. Was considering buying it and then saw saw this!

I’m an IMG (Caribbean) and my school literally got us every subscriptions (or group discount m) to every major step prep company there is. I’ve been using USMLE Rx Qbank (and the express videos, bricks, etc) to practice, Physeo for physiology, gross anatomy (I suck at GA) and embryology. I also used it for micro and pharm because it’s similar to sketchy. Boot Camp medical to prepare for lab practicals (cadaver) and GA in general was literally my saviour. I did have boards and beyond but I didn’t like some of the videos took awhile even at 2X speed but I really loved their pharmacology sections for the general principles.

Wonderful video❤, I will start to prepare to USMLE STEP1 after finishing the pre-clinic years ( after finishing the 3 year of medical college because our college is 6 years) in August 2024 if God willing ❤😊

My school uses only nbme questions for our block exams so I have only been using Boards and Beyond, Sketchy, and Anki since the start of med school. I almost never look at my school's lectures. I take step this December and I wish I didn't suspend all my anki cards after each test but... if I end up passing it still then... I guess I won't regret doing that lol.

Great video as always!

I was just wondering does this mean that step 2 scores will be more important now that step 1 is a pass/fail? Also do you think step 1 scores will still play a role in highly competitive fields even after this change? Would love hear your opinion about this maybe even make a video discussing how this will impact future doctors. I’m about to start my medical school journey and would love to be prepared for any challenges that might come.

Thank you👍

I feel like he is still talking about the way he got a high score, not the efficient way passing it in 2022…
