I believe it's more about the connections than the prestige. So naturally prestigious colleges have higher chances of good connections, but the difference isn't that much

From talking informally to med school admissions, prestige does help. Maybe not a ton but it definitely makes a different.

Hi i know this video is old. However I’m not sure what university to go to. My options so far are UC Santa Barbara, UC Davis, La Sierra (feeder school into Loma Linda University in CA), and California Baptist University (I got a huge scholarship). I feel like I’d be the happiest at UCSB, however I’m worried it has less opportunities than say UCD or La Sierra. But I’m worried UCD or UCSB would be too competitive compared to CBU or La Sierra

So it’s 2022. I got into UC San Diego, Santa Barbara and Davis out of state as a transfer junior from a Cc. (VERY EXPENSIVE) I haven’t even applied to schools in my hometown because I wanted to go out of state but I’m just wondering if it is worth the money atp😅 thank you for speaking about this. hi! could you make a video comparing stats/ best colleges for pre med that aren’t super hard to get into(like realistic choices). i want a school that has a really good program but i can’t get into dartmouth or john’s hopkins and whenever i look up “best colleges for pre med” i feel like those are the only results i get. thanks!
