Dave got one of these newfangled slim wallets, the Stealth Razor from Airo Collective, a Kickstarter project, the world's thinnest wallet.
Does it actually replace a full traditional leather wallet?
How practical is it?
Does the RFID protection work?

Where are you supposed to keep your condoms? Um, damn... I mean where do you keep your photo of the wife & kids?

Why not just sell a rubber band and call it the "world's lightest wallet". That's all you really need right, just something to tie the cards and cash together. $85 buckets for some slim wallet, madness lol.

That 'stealth wallet' is just like some cheap arse wallet you get from ali express or poundland, nothing new here.

Who would have thought it was so expensive to eliminate that extra leather?

This product screams "rip off"

Looks like it needs the bungee cable on the outside to keep it closed... This is also one of the reasons why I stopped supporting kickstarter projects.

A "wallet" without a coin pocket is just a glorified card holder

I was on the search for a thin - but functional - wallet and ended up making my own, after years of trying other products. It's a 3-fold design made from stretch jeans.
It's just slightly longer than needed to avoid the fold-out problem. Made from 2 pieces of material, it has 3 slots for cards, 3 for coins, 1 for bills. Takes an hour to make one completely from scratch, about 90 minutes to make 3-4 pieces. They last about 2 years each, then you can throw them in the washing machine.

That LITERALLY looks like something from the $1 store here in the States!! - WTF?

A small plastic clip on the tip could totally solve the non-closing feature

What are the odds, the inventor of this wallet is my neighbor! My wife loaned him a Canadian $20 to test foreign currency and she got a demo model to keep. It is pretty cool and thin, she keeps her cards in it on her purse.

That is pretty much why I lost hope on these "thin" wallets - they seem awesome in pictures, but are totally useless in real life. For example: The highest coin denomination in my country is over 3 australian dollars, while at average salary, you are working 23 minutes for it. The lowest denomination bill is twice that (6AUD, 50 minutes of work time). That means that you carry A LOT of coins, that are fairly valuable. Wallet without coin pocket is then a no-go for me. Well, that is just silly me, just shove it in your pocket, you say. OK, lets continue: Access cards - turnstiles in the office building I work in are so poorly designed, that they are not able to excide RFID tags very far, thus only the outside pocket or only up to one layer of leather can be present between the reader and the card, but also can't read more than one at a time and pick the authorized card and thus access card for the building has to be carried fairly separately (for me it is in the wallets main compartment in a zipped main pocket, then all non RFID cards and only then the other RFID access cards, which fortunately use better readers). If I used a thin wallet like this, I'd have to take the access card out of the wallet every time I enter or exit the building. And then there is other things I carry in my wallet, like my concealed carry permit, my gun registration, car registration (all of these have bigger format, than standard credit card), bunch of business cards, receits and othe miscellaneous stuff.
All and all, these thin wallets are pretty useless :D
