What's the plan with the gearbox? Presumably this thing will be producing a heap of extra torque when you're finished with the mods. I've seen dynos of cars producing an extra 100-150Nm of torque with a catback, upgraded intercooler and piping and a flash tune. That's somewhere in the region of a 30% uplift compared to stock. I haven't been able to track down what the gearbox is rated at, but even 30% over stock seems like it could be pushing the boundaries from a longevity point of view and with the build you're putting together you're probably going to be even higher. What sort of factor of safety do OEMs normally build into their boxes?
