Police reports obtained by News 13 show multiple police runs for overdoses and two reported suicide attempts at the East Asheville Ramada Inn.

News 13 has previously reported two overdose deaths at the hotel this year. The hotel has operated as both a city-run homeless shelter and a hotel since April. But it’s not clear that every police call is regarding a shelter resident.

Police reports show individuals admitting to using methamphetamine during overdose incidents at and around the Ramada property. Additional reports show police narrations of suspected heroin and fentanyl use in those overdosing. Each of the reports lists the Ramada’s address as the location for the emergency calls.
