30-year-old living in retirement village

ABC News’ Will Ganss checks in with a 30-year-old who is living like a millennial “Golden Girl” after ditching her city life in Philadelphia for a retirement community in Florida.

That is a blessing they allowed her in the community. I live in Florida and if you are not of age, they won't allow it unless you use someone else's name of age, you have connections or money talks. I too wouldn't go anywhere as well because it is quiet, and I'd feel safe in that community. Also the rent is reasonable in those communities.

How is she able to reside there without proof of age of being a senior? What kind of board of directors allowed permission for non seniors to live in a seniors community?

WTF the comments are full of jealous or unhappy people. She seems like such a happy woman, how can anyone hate on her? I’m pretty sure she doesn’t steal someone else’s spot, and if she does it’s not her fault, they let her in.
We want happy people in the world so they can help others being happy.

A lot of the elders may not see their grandchildren so she can be the supplement for those that don’t …I would use that time to learn elder care or something

Was there no age minimum for this place?

As far as I’ve seen, most lifestyle and retirement villages don’t allow you to live there until you’re 50-60 (depending on the village).

I think this is pitiful. I don't agree with this at all. There is a reason those people are there, and while they have welcomed her, it's not where she belongs, and it is discriminatory.
