Eric Johnson's live "Cliffs of Dover" tone from "Live from Austin Texas" (1988) has been scientifically proven to be the greatest guitar tone ever achieved by humanity and can never be surpassed, unless it's done by EJ himself. Don't get mad at me; it's science. Also, Eric Johnson is a superior being from another dimension so I suppose it's not a fair comparison.

The moment I saw this, I immediately thought of SRV's tones. Such a raw and strong tone that easily got me into Guitar!

Mark Knopflers tone is the one I can always recognise. Even when I was listening to a Slow Train Coming by Bob Dylan, I thought: "hmm this sounds familiar". After I googled the song it showed that Knopfler played guitar on that album :).

Mark Knopfler "Money for Nothing" is a classic. I would easily recognize it over the last one played.

I'm pretty shocked there wasn't a track to feature David Gilmour. He's got one of the most recognizable tones.

Brian may surely has to have one of the most distinctive tones. The John mayer tone was beautiful. Great video.

Finally, a list on tones of other players
Fun fact: Hendrix didn't play a strat when recording Purple Haze. He played on a telecaster after breaking his strat's tuner(s) in the gig he played before going to the studio. This is why I stuck with telecaster.

For the Bohemian Rhapsody tone cover, you could use you Paoletti triple P90(His Red Special has Burns tri-sonics which are really hot single coils) or any out-of-phase guitar you have. Oh, and Brian has a really light touch. His fretting is so soft he didn't need to refret after all these years of playing it.

I just bought a spark. I am soooo happy with it. It sounds so nice and clean. My old amp was very noisy and the distortion was like a over the top fuzz, horrible. It sounded ok when played clean and using bias fx2, but it still had some hum. The spark is silent and I’m using way less cables.

I love it 💕

You know what, Tyler? You're one of the reasons I play guitar. Your solo in the song 'Dread Machine' still leaves me, 'Hey, back up, what was that? Play it You just rock,
