To be fair, as a PC player, you are buying convenience and ease of use with a console. With a console there is an inherent trust that it will just work with occasionally updates needed.

Honestly, I don't want to come across as harsh, but your setup isn't quite on par with what the PS5 Pro offers. You need a better CPU and a slightly improved GPU. A fast 2TB SSD is essential, and you should also include a PS5 DualSense controller at that price point. The PC should be a small form factor to match the PS5's size. Try building an SFF system with all these specs at that price.

Your ssd is nowherre the level and the gpu you would need AI upscale capable GPU . Its a nice build for the price but not a PS5 pro competitor for gaming as a computer is more versatile.

PS5 uses a Zen 2 processor with a RDNA2 GPU. Basically a Ryzen 7 4700G with a Radeon RX 6700.
With the PS5 Pro only having a larger GPU. I'm assuming it'll be closer to a Radeon RX 6800 or 7800 XT.

I know you recently posted a video of a small footprint Bazzite build meant to be basically a living-room console, but I think a "big" build like this would also be a great way to showcase Bazzite or another distro as a Widnows daily driver and gaming alternative.

Btw I think its fair to say the price of the ps5 pro should have 80$ tacked on to make it more fair. Ps plus is 80$ a year apparently and can easily make up for a mech keyboard and mouse. Or more storage. also windows keys dont matter like its either 10-20$ for permanent fix or just have the watermark.

All the tested games are running above 60 fps, mostly above 80. This is gonna feel better and look better than anything on the PS5 as long as you have a tv or monitor that supports more than 60hz.

planning on doing a build like this, but with the 5700x3d and 32gb ram, i hope it will be good enough for a couple of years
