Hope this isn't a silly question. Can the T5 be used on a iPhone Xs max, and a windows 10 laptop? Thought I heard that it has to be formatted to work with iPhone.

My 2008 iMac hard drive went bad so now I boot / use the T5 as my main drive. It makes my 2008 iMac TOTALLY useable/ fast. Running El Capitan on a core two duo
