I've read 2 books on Algorithms watched the series from MIT, but this series is FAR FAR superior, it's very engaging, not at all boring, with a lot of simply presented and easy to understand information. This is by far, the best teacher I've ever seen. I'm addicted. Brilliant.

What a fantastic class Richard!...The way you teach is absolutely engrossing. I would also say what a lucky batch of students to have you as a teacher. Thanks for the videos!!

That moment when you're so scared that the second part of a lecture is missing because the color of the professor's shirt is different from the first part and then.. realisation strikes --> he just removed his jacket ! Thank God!

thank you so much for all the videos! i'm an instructor and one of the courses i teach is data structures and algorithms! i came across this series while looking for fun sorting videos and i've picked up some great tips on presenting this materials (which can be a bit dry) and really engaging the students!

log was the goal of this lecture so he had to explain it and I think he does it every year. I just can't believe there are still professors like him in the world... I wish I had professor like him in my college :(

I love Richard's lectures, and putting this kind of thing on the Internet for everybody to access can't be underestimated in it's positive impact and benefit for everyone with Internet access. And the people seeking enlightenment will get the most out of it.
But the students sitting in front of Richard actually being lectured feel like a waste of time to me. Many of them won't be there because they want to learn, but as a consequence of some other whatever it was. Their retention level'd suck.
