Godot does have some curve functions built in so you shouldn't necessarily have to write out all the math yourself

Godot has a built in curve function, you could use that, and since the points are relative you can just the in and out points by the target

Then again home brew is just better sometimes

Make it so when they are outside the membrane they take damage. Also it should be a game where a small organism has to protect a cell from becoming a cancer one
