😡🤬🤢 Ultramarines are actually the WORST

I still hate Ultramarines even if they are the space marine poster child for warhammer 40k but the blue recipe is pretty solid!

I think the hate on ultramarines is silly. "space romans" is a pretty popular vibe, and blue/white/gold is a real solid scheme that's not hard to make look good

As compared to Fists, or Templars, or Blood Angels etc, all of those are considerably harder to paint imo

I like the ultramarines for there lore and values ( to an extent) they aren’t without flaws. I like there versatility in battle with some great characters and blue and gold is my favorite color combination it was my high school colors. I liked them before I knew much about 40k or before I knew they were the poster boys sometimes you just dig what ya dig.

Think I'm gonna try this for the Alpha Legion army I'm building. Originally I wanted to do NMM but it's my first time ever painting minis (outside of Gundams) and while I do think I could figure it out, I don't want to spend a month painting my army.

I feel like the problem with ultramarines is they lack an identity. They use to have some unique units and there has always been the possibility to super detail them but they always move back to “default.” Also people should use more white. They look good with white.

I get that Ultramarines are the posters boys and so people are easily bored of them but they are one of the iconic images that got me into Warhammer in the first place. Without them I would have found the ad mech 🙂 great short vid.

I never had an airbrush when I painted miniatures (to a very high standard) I always thought it was cheating lol in my ludicrously stubborn head 😂
