The small talk with your girls was so cute, memories are what's left and the most important for sure

Great to see it didn't break the bank too much :) I ran a 4200 for a while and it was so much better than I ever expected, and certainly far better than the internet would lead you to believe.
Best of luck on your YouTube journey.
Matt

That's an extremely honest car repair shop. Kudos!

The Dadarati has gone to a good home! The look back on the memories was so wholesome 🥹 this is why I love supporting your channel so much!! Words can’t describe it but a fellow Petrolhead Papa would know exactly what I’m talking about.

If it makes you feel any better, my father recently thought about scrapping his e39 528i that he’s had for 25 years and replace it with a Chinese EV of all things (horrible fuel prices, tax exemption “coincidentally” only for Chinese EVs), the car’s AC immediately decided to stop producing cold air so it could cook us in a 35 degree city. These cars really do have a soul and get mad if you try to replace them especially with garbage.

Owned a Maserati 4304V the last of the biturbo era, but with the Ghibli motor, diff cooler, getrag manual etc.... Owned it 4 years and only thing that broke was a passenger door handle pin broke when someone pulled up at the same time the central locking was unlocking. Thing was a weapon with some light tuning and a free flowing exhaust.

It wasn’t leaking, it was just marking its territory.

What a bittersweet video and you seemed genuinely down in the intro. Keep your head up: something great will pop up in the classifieds shortly, I’m sure.

And in the meantime if you ever want an F31 335D Touring or a V8V Roadster for some random content then hmu.

Sad to see the Maserati go but glad it’s gone to a good home! Looking forward to the next car and hope this channel stays around for a long time, great stuff Ben!

Wow what a nice video and so glad to see a happy Maser owner. There are many many of us.

Our whole life revolves around creating memories. When she was happy that it was a subsciber who bought the car. It was as if the farewell was not so bad, because someone with whom there is a personal connection will be happy.
It is always nice to see how children, no matter how old, do not necessarily have to grasp complex topics completely in order to understand the emotional attitude behind them.

A few interesting Jags spring to mind: XKR, S Type R or even XF SV8.

You hit the nail on the head when answering your daughter’s why do you like cars question. I remember the same feeling of freedom and adventure when I
Assed my test and my father gave me his old station car, a Triumph Herald

Congrats on a quick and painless sale Ben. Great video. Thanks for sharing the journey. I’ve loved your videos from day 1 and you inspired me to get my dream car an Evora 400 which I picked up a few weeks ago and love. I can just about squeeze my two boys in the back. Just. But without your vids I wouldn’t have had a clue that it was possible. It’s always hard to move a special car like the Mazza on but im sure you’ll have lots more special cars in your time. Keep up the good work and i hope you get a tonne more subscribers, because you deserve it. Thanks, Rich

Glad that your Masarati had a mostly happy ending. Sorry that you're a bit skint right now, but if it keeps you from buying an E60 M5, than I'd say it's a good thing, . I'd recommend a Jaguar XF. You can get a great example for 10, 000 quid and it's a blast to drive and no worse in reliability than a Masarati for a sorted example.

Tip Ben… if you prise out those oil stained bricks from the driveway and turn them upside down, drop them back in, voila!! No more dirty driveway 😊… also, I’ve got the 134000 mile DB9 but also a BMW 640d… they are AMAZING dad cars, fast, great looking and ultra reliable.

I weirdly find myself being jealous of that new owner. I think I need a Gransport one day. Thank you for the wonderful memories you gave me last November. Living with it for the weekend was such an honour and so enlightening.

Definitely bitter sweet. Great moments in the car to be cherished forever. Looking forward to seeing what comes next!

Wtf is with those shorts? Great video though. I can send a couple pair from the USA if things are tight over there. I have an 82, 000 mile Gran Turismo cab, my second, and I love them. I’ve had a couple of QP’s as well (2006 and 2014), and never any major repairs. I did need an outer tie rod on my GT and the dealer said they are not serviceable, had to buy a complete rack. After a short search I purchased a tie 😮 rod online for $26. I am a used car dealer, and the only one in my area that has the balls to sell them around here (40 miles west of Boston). Please don’t tell anyone how cheap they are to run. I like that their terrible reputation (unfounded as it is) keeps them very inexpensive to buy. I have 2003 sl55 AMG with 493hp that I nearly never drive because the Maserati is just so much more satisfying.

Oh no it’s gone 😢 you made some great memories in it by the looks of things.

Can’t wait to see what replaces it 😊
