Design flaw. The crown thread will eventually be worn. You have to release the screw down crown in order to wind. Read about threads being cross threaded or worn on watch forums.

I'm new to manual winding watches. Do I have to wind it again in few days if I wear it everyday? I used to have a self-winding watch, I know I only have to wind it again if I leave it on the table for couple of days until it looses power.
