I've been watching since my disc herniation in 2018. They are like old friends. Bob and Brad are genuinely good people.

Bob, good to see you in a video. Sorry to see your diagnosis in a video a few weeks back, but I'm sure you've got a great support network and you'll only push yourself as hard as you need to. Take care.

I have the delayed sleep cycle.
I don't usually feel tired until about 3 or 4 am.
All of my life, even as a kid.
Every job i've had doesn't begin until 2 or 3 pm.
I simply cannot function in the 8 am world.
But i feel great during my afternoon/evening shifts.

I don't have any problem getting to sleep, but staying asleep is a different story🙄- usually because of physical discomfort:
*leg pain (if I forgot to take my tumeric before bedtime),
*too hot or too cold(I always have the temperature cool),
*mouth so dry that I feel like I'm choking, and I can't swallow without wetting my whistle,
*or constant post nasal drip.

Since turning my phone and laptop to 24/7 “night mode” (blue light off) my eyes have been MUCH better. They were getting so dry, blurred, strained before, I haven’t had issues in the year since then. It can take a day or so to adjust to the color change, but you stop noticing the difference pretty quickly.

Re: screens: Note that there are apps for both phones and PCs which will change the color balance to be redder in the evenings before bed. Usually the apps let you schedule the transition times.

Hey Bob! You are looking healthy. You look like you are feeling well. You still have your good sense of humor.
Keep feeling better and better.

Constant tinnitus is my white noise. Room is always cool, but a good duvet (not feathers) keeps us warm. Earplugs are a must for me, hubs can get pretty noisy with snoring, talking, arm movement, etc. I'm setting up another sleep space for me.

We listen to a guided meditation every night and it's shifting our brainwaves. We're sleeping more deeply, remembering dreams, and feeling well-rested even on nights we go to bed too late.
