Thank you for the video, very informational wish I watched it before I went solar.
Through Tesla I recently got a 9.02kw and 2 PW3’s installed dec. 2024 under nem3.0 and currently waiting for final inspection and PTO.
Most of my energy usage is at night charging ev about 18kwh mon-fri, hoping not to get a high tru up, will exporting during high export pay backmonths aug-sept and doing Tesla VPP help?

@Jaimie Greene, I have a gas furnace heater and my utility bill shows how much our thrm usage is in addition to electricity usage. Does interval data include both? Trying to understand interval data. Also one contractor told me I need a 5kw system and another tells me I need a 10kw system. My home is 2632 sqft, two story and I get sunshine all day. How do I know how much solar I need?

Thank you for your video. I’m looking at a system size of 6.885kwh resulting in 129% offset with 20kwh self consumption storage. I was concerned with so much storage but sales rep insisted that the batteries will be full in summer and that we will use 20kwh for A/C during the evenings. I live in central California so it gets really hot here. Thoughts?

As usualy - great presentation, thank you. I do have a clarification question, though. My understanding is that with SoCal Edison NEM 3.0 there are monthly bills with true-ups. Do we also get a monthly credit applied based on the power exported to Edison monthly, or is there still another yearly true-up where NEM 3.0 customers will only be able to use those cerdits once a year, like with NEM 2.0?
