Nice speech, but cost is the problem. Today's batteries, even after tax credits and incentives, just cost too damn much for the typical homeowner.

He’s right! My Solar System was installed in 2020 with no battery support! Duke Energy manages the power that’s sent to them!

In North Carolina I pay $16 per month Duke Energy and they return my unused power to me when I require it! Otherwise they provide power to me when I have no reserves!

I will completely payoff my system by the end of 2024 then I will turn my attention to battery backup!

Tesla internal cost is around $100 / kWh. Eventually these prices will reach consumers. Hopefully soon.
